Summer Hockey Term 2025 - Members guide to signup
The summer term starts on Tuesday 22nd of April, and there is activity to take part in every Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday until the 29th of June.
We ask Hawks members to follow the below process to signup for the summer term and subsequent sessions, all using MyClubHouse.
Step 1 - Signup to take part
All members looking to take part in some summer activity at Hawks are being asked to make a small donation to the club charity. This is NOT paying for the sessions you will attend but allows us to make the commitments to coaching & pitch space for the entire term.
The recommended donation is £22.50, which is just £2.50 per week that the term is running. We would be very grateful if you feel you can afford to donate more than £22.50 and enable gift-aid on this amount. Any surplus from these donations will be used by the club to further improve our hockey offering in future seasons.
Step 2 - Pick, signup and pay for session
All those who have made a donation will be added to the relevant area in MyClubHouse. This will then present you with the sessions available, and you can use the website or the app to signup to attend.
To complete the signup to a session, you will be asked to pay £6 for that session in advance.
We hope that everyone will:
- Only signup to sessions they are sure they can attend (there will be a limited number of spaces at each session, please don't hog session spaces then not attend so someone else misses out)
- Try to signup at least 1 week in advance so we can plan accordingly (you can signup even further in advance, that would be awesome)
- Make sure you complete the payment process
- Cancel your attendance as far in advance as possible, so anyone on a waiting list gets a chance to take your place (cancellations will sit as a credit in your account, rather than a refund. These can be used for any future purchase at Hawks HC)
Step 3 - Turn-up, learn, practice & compete
Each week provides opportunity for coached practice sessions based on core skills of hockey and options to come and play matches.
There are 3 sessions available to all age groups (older than Under 8), you might do 3 a week, you might do 1 a week, or you might just play a couple of games over the whole summer for a run around.
Let's get started
Use the button below to go to MyClubHouse and make a summer donation. Once that is complete, allow some time to be added to the summer squad, after which you can start booking on to session.

Be our guest at Hawks
Hawks junior hockey is on a mission to help 1000’s of young players fulfil their potential as hockey players, even those who don’t want or can’t be a full hockey club member.
Our weekday training sessions are run by professional coaches and are balanced to support the needs of players of all ability.
They are high-performance for players looking to progress to higher level pathways such as county and Talent Academy. They are also supportive to players withing to improve their skills to be selected for “A Team” standard, at school or club.
Our sessions run every week from Hurstpierpoint College and Worth School, so why not be our guest without needing to join the whole club?
Our guest program is aimed at junior hockey players who fit one of the following categories:
Boarders at School
At school during the week and looking for extra hockey to have fun and help you improve?
We understand that often school boarders are quite a way from home and cannot make it to local clubs, therefore we offer boarders the option to join Hawks weekday training sessions and receive our high standards of coaching, without having to join the club.
This is a great way of improving skills during hockey term and keeping connected to the sport when school time is focused on other sports.
No midweek club hockey
Some clubs do not offer midweek junior hockey coaching and those which do are too far away.
Stay as a member of your current club but take part in our junior hockey sessions on weekday evenings to improve your skills and get plenty of extra stick and ball time.
Children build connections in their club enviroments, with players and coaches, but often the most keen want extra hockey which they can’t access at their clubs. Be our guest at Hawks training and get extra practice and coaching during the week, then play with your club at the weekend.
