Summer Hockey Term 2025 - Members guide to signup
The summer term starts on Tuesday 22nd of April, and there is activity to take part in every Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday until the 29th of June.
We ask Hawks members to follow the below process to signup for the summer term and subsequent sessions, all using MyClubHouse.
Step 1 - Signup to take part
All members looking to take part in some summer activity at Hawks are being asked to make a small donation to the club charity. This is NOT paying for the sessions you will attend but allows us to make the commitments to coaching & pitch space for the entire term.
The recommended donation is £22.50, which is just £2.50 per week that the term is running. We would be very grateful if you feel you can afford to donate more than £22.50 and enable gift-aid on this amount. Any surplus from these donations will be used by the club to further improve our hockey offering in future seasons.
Step 2 - Pick, signup and pay for session
All those who have made a donation will be added to the relevant area in MyClubHouse. This will then present you with the sessions available, and you can use the website or the app to signup to attend.
To complete the signup to a session, you will be asked to pay £6 for that session in advance.
We hope that everyone will:
- Only signup to sessions they are sure they can attend (there will be a limited number of spaces at each session, please don't hog session spaces then not attend so someone else misses out)
- Try to signup at least 1 week in advance so we can plan accordingly (you can signup even further in advance, that would be awesome)
- Make sure you complete the payment process
- Cancel your attendance as far in advance as possible, so anyone on a waiting list gets a chance to take your place (cancellations will sit as a credit in your account, rather than a refund. These can be used for any future purchase at Hawks HC)
Step 3 - Turn-up, learn, practice & compete
Each week provides opportunity for coached practice sessions based on core skills of hockey and options to come and play matches.
There are 3 sessions available to all age groups (older than Under 8), you might do 3 a week, you might do 1 a week, or you might just play a couple of games over the whole summer for a run around.
Let's get started
Use the button below to go to MyClubHouse and make a summer donation. Once that is complete, allow some time to be added to the summer squad, after which you can start booking on to session.

Midweek Summer Hockey

Sunday Summer Hockey
HC Hawks is a club and academy for juniors aged 5 to 18 years old.
We offer a range of hockey playing and learning opportunities to young people in this age range; from beginners, through developing players, to those seeking to play hockey at the highest level.
Predominately a hockey club, we offer age group squads for children to play with age & ability appropriate teams.
However, we are on a mission to send 1000’s of young people in to adulthood with the skills and passion needed to continue playing hockey. Therefore we also have an academy for Hawks members and non-members, who wish to get in to the sport, stay connected or progress their existing ability.
Take a look at the various HC Hawks options available for juniors to fulfil their potential.
Hawks Club Membership
Be part of a HC Hawks age group squad, play in a team and have regular training, as a HC Hawks Member.
Starting with Under 8’s having hockey once a week, through to Under 10’s to Under 18’s training during the week and playing competitive hockey on Sunday, we have an age group squad for all junior players.
The hockey season runs from September to Easter each year and Hawks members have priority in joining our academy activity.

Hawks Weekday Guests
If you are a junior hockey player looking to improve your hockey with extra weekday training sessions, be our guest at Hawks practice, with no commitment to being a full member.
Hawks Weekday Guests receive great quality, professional coaching alongside at our training sessions on weekday evenings, at Worth & Hurst locations. Then play elsewhere or do something different at the weekend.
For players who stay at school during the week and miss their clubs training, or those who love hockey but can’t commit to weekend club activity, this program helps young players continue to improve their hockey without being a club member.
Hawks Indoor
A fast paced, fun, (dry) and skillful version of the game, indoor hockey is a great addition for any junior hockey player looking to get even more out of the sport.
Hawks Indoor hockey runs predominantly in the autumn and winter months, as we target certain competition and take advantage of the consistent weather conditions of the sports hall.
Coaching from indoor specialists, with small group sizes for plenty of time on the ball and playing games, Hawks indoor hockey is ideal for members and non-members who want to take advantage of this discipline to compete or to refine their outdoor skills.
