Unforgettable Summer Hockey Tour: Oisterwijk 2026

Get ready for the ultimate hockey experience! From Monday, 17th August to Friday, 21st August 2026, our club is heading to the heart of the Netherlands for a five-day tour that combines high-level sport, world-class spectating, and unbeatable team bonding.

The Netherlands is the undisputed home of field hockey, and with the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup taking place during our visit, there has never been a more exciting time to cross the channel and pick up a stick.

The Experience

This tour isn’t just about the matches; it’s about living and breathing hockey in an environment built for the sport.

• International Fixtures: Test your skills against local Dutch teams and other touring sides from across Europe.

• Pro Coaching: Sharpen your game with fun, high-energy coaching sessions.

• The World Cup: We will be heading to the World Cup (taking place nearby) to watch the best players on the planet compete for glory.

• Team Camping: Experience the true “tour” atmosphere by camping securely with your teammates on-site at our host club in Oisterwijk.

• Efteling Theme Park: We’ll take a break from the pitch for a full day of adrenaline at Efteling, one of Europe’s most enchanting and famous theme parks.

Estimated Costs

We want to make this tour as accessible as possible. While final prices will be confirmed once we have a clear idea of numbers, our current budgetary estimates are:

• Tour Package: ~£400 per player

  • Includes: 4 nights accommodation (camping), all meals, coaching sessions, tournament entry, Efteling tickets, and World Cup match tickets.

• Travel: ~£100 per player

  • Estimated cost for travel to and from Oisterwijk.

Travel & Supervision

To ensure a safe and family-oriented atmosphere, players are encouraged to travel with a parent. This can be their own parent or a nominated guardian who is happy to assume responsibility for the duration of the trip.

The club will work closely with all parents to finalise travel logistics and group bookings before any final payments are made. Safeguarding is paramount and working with parents to ensure this is covered, will be the overall priority to the trip, this is likely to include parents needing to be responsible for children.
